We would like to share information from about the October programs at the Archdale Public Library! Below is the general information about all of the programs. Flyers and a calendar are attached.
Read with Me: October 14th (registration opens October 7th)
On the second Monday of every month from 4:00-6:00pm, our therapy animals take over the library! Come join us to read to a dog or even a bird to increase your reading skills in the most fun way! Free program, slots are limited. Sign-up opens the week before, call to reserve your child’s time at 336-431-3811.
Third Thursday: Special Edition HALLOWEEN PARTY (October 31st @ 4pm)
Join us on the Third Thursday of every month (unless noted otherwise) from 4-5pm at the Archdale Library to try new things, get some reading recommendations, and have fun. This month, join us for a spooktacular School-Aged Halloween Party! Wear your best costume for a chance to win prizes in our Costume Contest. Enjoy fun Halloween activities and candy, and kick off the night with Spooky Ghost Stories by Cheralyn Lambeth of the Charlotte Area Paranormal Society. This family-friendly event promises fun for everyone. Don’t miss out on a hauntingly good time! This program is designed specifically for school aged kids, best for ages 5 - 12. Teen Hangout: Every Wednesday at 4pm
Join us every Wednesday at 4pm to relax, play games, learn new skills, and get some work done if you need a space to do so.This program is designed specifically for teens, best for ages 12-18. Free program, no registration required, call 336-431-3811 for inquiries.

Snacks & games provided. Just chill or get some work done.
October 9th: BeetleJuice movie night
Join us for a Beetlejuice movie night—dress in your best Beetlejuice-themed outfits and enjoy some free pizza.
October 16th: SFX Makeup with film makeup artist Jen McCollum
Join us for an SFX makeup workshop with a professional movie makeup artist, who’ll showcase techniques, craft prosthetic props, and offer tips to perfect your Halloween look.
October 23rd: Do Your Own Thing
Snacks & games provided. Just chill or get some work done.
October 30th: Pre-Halloween party
Join us for a pre-Halloween party featuring a costume maker's space, spooky crafts, games, and snacks.

Today was the first day of the 2024-2025 school for the Randolph County School System. It was a great day!











We are looking forward to Open House today, August 22nd from 4:00 until 6:00 pm. Come meet your teacher, bring school supplies, get bus pick up/drop off times, sign up for daycare, get PTSA information, and get excited for the new school year! TES is ready to welcome our Bulldogs!
