Student Council is sponsoring a Canned Food Drive starting tomorrow, November 4th through November 15th. Please send in unexpired canned food to give to our community. There will be an ice cream party for the K-2 and 3-5 class that brings in the most cans!

Congratulations to Ms. Kinney for winning the staff pumpkin game! Mrs. Pencola and Mrs. McGuire were both close behind! This past week our staff played a game where each staff member started with a pumpkin on their door. Lots of rules and stolen pumpkins later, these three came out on top! The staff and students loved adding some competition to our days!

Today is the last day for the Bookfair! All shopping ends at 11:00am. If your child has money today, please let their teacher know so they can purchase their books before closing time! There will be no sales after 11:00. Thank you!

Don't forget!! Tonight is our PAWESOME Title 1 Night! The Bookfair will be open from 4:30- 5:30. At 5:30 there will be a presentation in the gym! PTSA will share updates then we will have our annual Title 1 APM presentation. Classroom sessions are at 6:00 & 6:30. Sessions will be grade specific and will repeated so families with students in different grade levels can attend multiple sessions. AIG will be presenting at 6:00 in Mrs. Redding's room. Please plan to attend! :)

All funds raised for Share the Fair allow us to purchase books for the Media Center. Any student who rounds up will be able to pick a prize. We will still have some change on hand and students are still allowed to use coins to pay for their purchases.

Archdale, Hopewell, John Lawrence, Trindale, and Trinity Elementary are working together to collect supplies for Hurricane victims in North Carolina. We are collecting the following: water canned foods blankets batteries/lights/solar plates/napkins/plasticware baby wipes/formula/diapers Deadline for these supplies is Friday, October 18.
