Southeastern Randolph Middle School recently held a signing event for AVID 6th-8th grade students. During this time, AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) students proudly signed their contracts, officially committing to the program’s high expectations and goals. These contracts signify each student's pledge to uphold AVID's principles—dedication to rigorous coursework, personal responsibility, and the pursuit of college and career readiness.
The contract-signing event brought together students, parents, and teachers in a celebration of academic ambition. Each contract outlined the students' goals, their responsibilities in the program, and their promise to consistently engage in AVID strategies like note-taking, time management, and collaborative study.
With signed contracts in hand and strong school and community support, these AVID students are now better equipped to take on the challenges ahead and achieve their dreams.
