SERMS Students Organize Food Drive
SERMS Students Organize Food Drive
by Emma Moon and Rayne Lawson

Student Life at Southeastern Randolph Middle school held a food drive to help the people in the community who are struggling to have enough food this holiday season.  The food drive started on December 1st and continued on through Friday, December 15th.  The school raised a total of 2,046 items which well over their goal of 1000 items.  The food drive was a total success and helped a lot of people in our community because North Carolina ranks as the eighth worst state for people lacking food on a regular basis.  The Wildcats of Southeastern Randolph Middle School's Student Life hopes to make this an annual tradition.  Thanks to all the people that donated!
